LAS VEGAS – Lighting industry musical group The Swingin’ Johnsons have announced they will play two live gigs at LDI 2015 in Las Vegas. The Johnsons will play Friday and Saturday from 4:30pm to 5:30 pm on the Robe booth (#2521) in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Opening for the group are The BRobes, a band comprised entirely of Robe employees.

The Swingin’ Johnsons have performed at more than a dozen LDI shows and events, including legendary performances at the Hard Rock Hotel, The House Of Blues, The Tropicana, The Glow Club and many other venues, but have not performed at the tradeshow since the LDI 25th Anniversary Party in 2012.
The band is comprised of Robert Mokry (LightParts), Bruce Jordahl (Calzone/Anvil Cases, High End Systems), Scott Church (4Wall) and Thommy Hall (Robe). PA and backline will be supplied by Yorkville. FOH Engineer Danny Garbett will be on hand to mix, while this year’s lighting design is by Nathan Wan.
