NASHVILLE – Bandit Lites is providing gear for country artist Billy Currington’s Summer Forever tour. LD Chris Shrom turned to Bandit for Elation’s ACL 360 Bars, Robe Robin Pointes, Elation Cuepix 2-Cell WW Blinders, GLP impression X4s and Stageline Nitro 510 Strobes. Board operator Ian Saunders is triggering the cues with a grandMA2 Light console.

While his first show of the year may have launched in February, Billy Currington, ever the consummate country summer ballad crooner, is crisscrossing the nation continuing his Summer Forever Tour with a lighting package provided by Bandit Lites.
The singer-songwriter, with nine No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, recently released “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To,” the third single off his sixth studio album, Summer Forever.
Having provided lighting packages for Currington for more than five years, Bandit Lites was ready to once again provide the lighting industry’s best in gear, service and support for when the “Must Be Doin’ Something Right” singer kicked off his first headlining show.
Lighting designer Chris Shrom used some of Bandit’s newest acquisitions in touring inventory, Elation’s ACL 360 Bars, Robe Robin Pointes, Elation Cuepix 2-Cell WW Blinders, GLP X4s, Stageline Nitro 510 Strobes, while board op Ian Saunders utilized a grandMA 2 lite console.

The relationship with Chris Diener and Chris Shrom began in their college days at Belmont, and Ian has worked with us previously on other tours. Summer may still be months away, but fans of Currington know that his easygoing tunes will make them feel as though they are lying by the ocean, mere moments away from a cold drink in their hand, and with lighting support from Bandit Lites, those on the road might even find they can too can relax with.
