KNOXVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites named Shay Simpson senior accountant. Simpson, who has 13 years of entertainment industry experience, will manage all aspect of the accounting systems while developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures. She will be based at the company’s headquarters in Knoxville.

A Johnson City, TN native, upon graduating from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Simpson first worked in Public Accounting before joining the finance team at Regal Entertainment Group, the United States’ largest theater chain. While there as Senior Accountant, she oversaw the month-end close process, reviewed monthly financial statements and provided detailed analysis of budget and prior year variances. Simpson also oversaw the development and implementation of Regal’s cutting edge annual budget process, a triumph she cites as one of her proudest accomplishments.
Regarding her new position with Bandit, Simpson said, “I am very blessed to be working with such a great team and for such an amazing company. I know that I have much to learn about the music industry, but I am very excited for this next chapter in my career.”
