In between the rolling hills and corn silos of rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania you’ll find what some are calling the “Backstage of the World,” also known as Rock Lititz. The community is a 96-acre, live event production campus bringing together the most innovative players in the industry. With resources ranging from design, engineering and manufacturing, to rehearsal space and beyond, Rock Lititz is a one-stop-shop for any event or touring production. To support its ongoing mission to work with innovative and forward-thinking individuals and organizations, Upstage Video recently moved its Philadelphia operation to the Rock Lititz community.

The Studio at Rock Lititz, the anchor tenant, is the largest and strongest rehearsal studio in the world; while Pod 2, the newest building on the campus, is meant to be the collaborative hub. With over twenty individual companies under one roof, the 250,000 sq. ft. multi-tenant facility promotes creativity and drive through an environment custom designed for production professionals.

Since its inception in 2005, Upstage Video had resided in Pottstown PA, a mere 60-minute drive from its new location at Pod 2 on the Lititz campus. The new location will serve as the company’s headquarters and house members of operations, logistics, sales, marketing and finance. A new, state-of-the-art warehouse, located in the same building, will provide ample amount of space for the ever-increasing inventory of LED and production equipment for a growing clientele base in Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia.

“The decision to move to Rock Lititz was easy. Our clients look to us as a creative resource, not just as screen providers, Rock Lititz drives that mission to the next level,” says Doug Murray, president of Upstage Video. “The collaboration between all of the live event companies on campus and the resources that we offer one another creates a community not found anywhere else in the world.”
