ATLANTA – Less than a month after opening the new home of the Atlanta Braves, SunTrust Park hosted Billy Joel for the venue’s inaugural concert. Having established a reputation with Major League Baseball Parks across the nation, G2 Structures was able to accommodate the demands associated with an event of this magnitude. G2’s team completed the setup of their K System Structure, converting the 41,000-seat stadium into a world class concert venue, in just over two days.

More details from G2 Structures (www.g2structures.com):

After the show G2 broke down the K2 System by 1:00PM the following day allowing the transformation back into a baseball field for the return of the Braves just over 72 hours after Billy Joel had taken the stage.

G2 has revolutionized stadium shows by engineering structures to be easily deployed in venues where time and space are at a premium. In order to accomplish this, G2 has innovated an expedited setup process allowing for more efficient use of time thereby paving the way for venues to host additional shows on dates that would have been traditionally reserved for the setup and breakdown of structures.

Throughout the year G2 will be in venues across the country hosting some of the top artists on tour. In addition to stadiums, G2 will be at some of the top festivals of the season.
