Electro Kabuki (EK), makers of theatrical reveal systems, now offers a 4-way Basic Firing Box as an accessory. It’s designed to let users rig up to four strings of modules and release each independently to achieve the exact set of reveal or drop effects they need.

As with all system components, the boffins at EK have kept the new firing box brilliantly simple to ensure ease of use and total reliability. A four-position rotary switch selects which string of EK modules should be armed, while a large centrally-mounted push-button provides the fire command to release those modules. The operator repeats the process for the other three switch positions.
The 4-way basic firing box features an integrated three-metre mains power cable and twin link cable connectors to join to the strings of EK modules. Each link cable addresses two strings of modules. Electro Kabuki users could achieve the same independent firing regime for four strings of modules by using two EK Basic firing boxes, but the new 4-way system offers a lower-priced solution – plus the advantage of a consolidated control box with a single switch for firing all four strings.
