NASHVILLE – Touring Career Workshop is committed to exploring issues that everyone on the road deals with, even when those issues are hard to talk about and this year’s event, being held Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Soundcheck Annex, will be no exception. In the wake of the Las Vegas tragedy, TCW has expanded their “Situational Awareness and Safety” session with Mike McGrath (venue security director/tour accountant for Blake Shelton/Tim McGraw and Faith Hill) to be a workshop wide event instead of the previously planned breakout session.
More details from TCW (www.touringcareerworkshop.com):
As in years past, this session will give tips and pointers on how important situational awareness is on the road. McGrath is a 30 year music industry veteran and has been practicing marshal arts for the past 20 years and is also a member of the US Marshal Arts Hall of Fame. In addition to this session, TCW has also added “Immediate Action Medical” session with Case Jumper.
