LAS VEGAS – The Accu-Weather forecast for the 2017 PLSN/FOH Parnelli Classic, set to take place at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, predicts that after a somewhat chilly start of 60 degrees F. in the early morning, the bright sun and a warm breeze from the southwest will bring afternoon temperatures up to 78 degrees F. by mid-afternoon. Especially for anyone arriving from the freezing and drizzly sections of the country, Nov. 16 in Las Vegas will be a warm and beautiful day.
Registration begins Nov. 16 at 6:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served, the driving range will be open to warm up, and there will be a putting contest. The shotgun start is at 8 a.m.
“Even though the competition is real, it stays friendly, and everyone has a great time,” said Terry Lowe, publisher of FRONT of HOUSE and PLSN magazines. Once again, a portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the Parnelli Scholarship Fund.
“It’s a great way to meet and network with the current leaders of our industry,” Lowe added, noting that, whether you play as an individual or come with a team, there are many levels for attendees to participate. “Manufacturers, vendors and clients all benefit from great connections forged on the links,” he says.
Along with some of the best golf in Las Vegas, the event serves as an opportunity for businesses to upgrade their marketing profile at the event through hole-sponsorship packages.
Participation is open to industry professionals and their guests. In addition to cart and green fees, individuals will also receive continental breakfast, a lunch barbecue, beverages, range balls, tournament bags, framed pictures of their foursome and access to mini-clinics by golf pros.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams. (And once again, tennis rackets will be given to our most challenged team.)
