ANAHEIM, CA – Attendees at this year’s Parnelli Awards gala, set for the Anaheim Hilton on Friday, Jan. 26, should note that in addition to the new city (Anaheim), month (January) and day of the week (Friday), this year’s Parnelli Awards cocktail reception and awards dinner starts an hour earlier than in years past, with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
If you’re looking to attend the 17th annual Parnelli Awards ceremony, a few remaining tickets are still available online, but they are growing scarce. After Wednesday at 5 p.m. Pacific time, the online ticket window at ParnelliAwards.com will close until next year. (IF any tickets are still remaining, they MIGHT be available at the door – check at the NAMM show with William Vanyo at Timeless Communications’ booth #9914 (featuring magazines including Musical Merchandise Review/MMR, PLSN, FOH and Stage Directions).
This year’s Parnelli Awards, which will feature renowned bassist Tony Levin as host along with the participation of rock photographer Neal Preston, honors Bobby “Boomer” Thrasher, Jonathan Smeeton and John Stadius with this year’s Lifetime Achievement, Visionary and Audio Innovator awards.
