SHENZHEN, China – The organizers of ISLE 2020 (Exhibition for Large Screen Display, Audio-Visual Integrated System, Signs & LED) and LED China 2020, which had been set for Feb. 24-27 and Feb. 24-26, respectively, announced that the events will have to be postponed to an unknown future date due to China’s government restrictions on mass crowd activities.
The strict regulations are part of the Chinese government’s efforts to curb the risk of infection from the potentially deadly novel coronavirus illness that originated late last year in Wuhan, China.
Although the same restrictions will likely affect other major events including GET show 2020, scheduled for Feb. 16-19, 2020 in Guangzhou, PLSN could not immediately confirm that that event had officially been postponed.*
“As the organizer, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to all ISLE buyers due to the postponement,” ISLE organizers noted on their website. “We will unite and overcome the difficulties together.”
*Update: GET show 2020 will also be postponed, according to a Jan. 31 posting on the exhibition website.
