ANAHEIM, CA – One of the coolest new features (and best-kept secrets) of the NAMM exhibition’s Entertainment Technology Showcase area were the live interviews between PLSN “LD-at-Large” columnist Chris Lose and top lighting designers including Bob Bonniol (pictured here), Sooner Routhier, Chris Lisle and Aron Altmark.
NAMM was, of course, a busy show, so unless you had already charted a beeline for Reliable Design’s mobile, rotating upside down drum kit design for that buddy of yours in a Mötley Crüe cover band, you may have not had a chance to absorb many of the pearls of wisdom emanating from Lose and his guests during the live interviews before they dissipated in the ether.
But fear not, because these interviews have been preserved in podcast form, and now the links to the podcasts will start appearing as a regular part of the PLSN Newsletter, starting with Chris’ interview with Sooner Routhier, fresh from her win of the Parnelli Award for Lighting Designer of the Year at the 19th annual ceremony the night before.
