NAMM, NAfME, EdTA Conduct Survey on Title IV-A Funding

Share this Post:

LOS ANGELES – The NAMM Foundation, National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) are gathering information on federal Title IV Part A funds and how they are being used for music and the arts in school districts across the country. Along with urging those in the know to participate in the 20-minute survey, the groups are encouraging those who don’t know to pass along the link to this survey to those who do – including school or district arts administrators, building principals or central office personnel. The deadline for survey submissions is March 31.

More details from NAMM (www.namm.org):

Thanks to the NAMM Foundation for supporting the survey.

Please take this brief survey about how Title IV Part A funds are being used for music and the arts in school districts across the country. We’re looking for information from all 50 states! A broad response is vital as we prepare a strong case to Members of the US Congress for continued Title IV-A funding for music and the arts as essential to a well-rounded education. The survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete.

To ensure accuracy, we ask that knowledgeable central office district personnel complete the survey—one per district. Please contact Laurie Schell, Special Project Consultant for The NAMM Foundation, should you have any questions.

Deadline for survey submission: March 31

We’re grateful for your commitment to music and arts education for all students.
