Petition for Covid-19 Federal Aid Package for Events Industry Signed by Close to 300,000

A petition on Change.org appealing for government aid amid the Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent cancelations of meetings and events that began in March and continue as far ahead as October 2020 was closing in on the 300,000 mark a week after its mid-March launch.

The petition was launched by Isaac Rothwell, national director of operations at Digerati Productions, along with original co-signers Randy Pruitt, Trevor Zulinke and Adam Gogan from Digerati Productions and Omar Colom from AV Educate.

A newly formed live events industry coalition has been forming along with the petition organizing activities. Key players include Digerati Productions’ Gogan and Zulinke and AV Educate’s Colom along with others including:
