SIR New York would like to share that we are moving out of our iconic 25th Street studios. The building was sold and the landlord is renovating and repurposing the space. We’re currently hosting rehearsals in New York at SIR Stage37. We’re searching for a new place to call home and to rebuild our world-class studios for the New York music community. Like you, we are certainly sad about the end of an era at 25th Street but are looking forward to a time when we are re-established in a new location. We’ll keep you updated with news on our new studios soon! That said, our New York rental operation is open and available. We’re optimistic about the future as we’re starting to see an uptick in the amount of calls for rentals, rehearsals, and production assistance.

While changes are happening in New York, its important to note that all SIR offices nationally are open and ready for your calls and emails. Safety for our clients and staff remains our number one priority. We are following state guidelines at each of our 13 locations and have instituted appropriate safety protocols. Frequent handwashing, masks, gloves, and hand-sanitizer are the norm. All backline and audio rentals are quarantined upon return and then each latch, cable, amp, and microphone is thoroughly disinfected per CDC guidelines.
