After Matt Stephens and Josh Watson of Afterglow Lighting were introduced to Elation’s new PARAGON LED profile fixture at LDI in December—courtesy of Chris Healy from the manufacturers rep firm Healy Sales—they knew they wanted a closer look and it didn’t take long before a full demo of the LDI award-winning LED moving head was arranged.

PARAGON
Elation’s new flagship series, PARAGON S is the result of years of development and designer feedback. Available in three models (S, M, LT), it features a custom white LED engine, TruTone variable CRI up to 93, and interchangeable profile, wash, and beam PC lenses—making it a versatile solution for a wide range of production needs. The PARAGON S delivers up to 20,500 lumens of output and features a 5° to 50° zoom, a full-blackout framing system, and a comprehensive FX package—all housed in a compact, weather-resistant IP54-rated chassis.
Afterglow stocks a wide variety of industry-standard equipment and will deploy its new PARAGON fixtures across a range of projects, including festivals, outdoor concerts, corporate events, galas, commencements, houses of worship, and dry-hire rentals.
PULSE BAR L
In addition to the PARAGON, Afterglow has expanded its inventory with Elation’s PULSE BAR L, a highly impactful IP65 strobe and visual effect bar. The PULSE BAR combines 1.5W RGB LEDs and 5W cool-white LEDs to create attention-grabbing blitzes of white or colored light or special effects. Its innovative housing allows end-to-end interconnection and includes an integrated L track for flexible mounting and positioning. Ideal for direct view applications, zone control opens up for a myriad of design possibilities.
