Blinders have been around since the first rock ‘n’ roll LD realized that film lights were useful in arenas when the show’s focus needed to shift from the performer onstage to the artist’s fans in the audience. Once incorporated into concerts as audience lights, they quickly found all sorts of stage use, having evolved from simple tungsten bulbs to LEDs capable of the same wattage with less power draw. Nowadays, users can choose their own type or build them to size themselves.
