LOS ANGELES – Four years ago, in his final year of graduate studies at Cal Arts, Grant Dunn signed on as an intern with TMB’s Tech Support Department, specializing in video server support and programming.  Since that time, Grant the Renaissance Man became a full-time TMB employee and has since served many valuable functions at TMB, from Video Editor, to Tech Support, to Event Management, and most recently, Sales/Customer Development, calling on and helping TMB’s customers throughout the Western US.

CHINA – The Shaanxi Tourism Group employed a range of modern technology to stage “Xi’an Incident,” marking the 80th anniversary of one of the turning points in the Chinese Civil War.  The production used the most advanced lighting, sound, automation and multimedia mapping technologies to create an immersive viewing experience for audiences.  Three d3 4x4pro media servers powered an extensive array of laser projectors and LED screens.

By 2013 she was producing films that were featured in the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, TX. The past couple of years, Rhiann has been focusing on a different route. While still honing her skills in the industry, she became involved with live audio and lighting production.

Fujifilm Launches New “MK” Series Of Cinema Lenses

WAYNE, N.J. – The Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM has unveiled the MK Series of cinema lenses for E-mount cameras, which boast advanced optical performance, ultra-compact and lightweight design, as well as superb cost performance. The first in this series to be introduced, the FUJINON MK18-55mm T2.9, is a standard zoom with an 18-55mm focal length. It will be available in early March for $3,799. In Memoriam: Tommy Stephenson, 53

FAIRPORT HARBOR, OH — Tommy Stephenson, longtime sales manager for Burbank, CA-based TMB, died Feb. 21, 2017. He was 53. Stephenson was the first employee to be hired by TMB founders and partners Marshall Bissett and Colin Waters after they formed the company to distribute entertainment production supplies in the mid-1980s.
