RGBlink’s MSP 200PRO, distributed by Mega Systems Inc., is a video format and test pattern generation device that provides users with an on board preview of an HDMI (or optionally SDI) source along with format inspection. Wave form monitoring and video monitoring capabilities are included. Popular test patterns can be easy selected with or without motion. Time code can be generated and displayed, allowing inspection frame delay. MSP 200PRO also includes a USB media input port as standard – use a MPEG4 or image as a test signal source, opening up many possibilities for producing bespoke testing configurations. Outputs as standard are (up to) 3G-SDI, CVBS and DVI, with DVI supporting both HDMI and VGA signals, and integrated Genlock. A compact touch friendly device MSP 200PRO is the essential device for the AV professional.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Productions to Close in May 2017

PALMETTO, FL — Feld Entertainment, the producers of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus productions, announced in March 2015 that it would be phasing out the use of live elephants in its productions by 2018. Now, as it turns out, the circus productions themselves will cease. The company says the loss of its elephant acts led to a dramatic drop in ticket sales and that, along with rising costs and battles with animal activists, led to the decision to shut down after 146 years of producing “The Greatest Show on Earth.” The last shows will take place in May.
