Blizzard Lighting PixelStorm COB

Blizzard Lighting’s PixelStorm COB is a high output LED linear wash fixture with pixel mapping effects. This one-meter-long fixture makes use of 12 25W RGBAW COB LEDs for bright color washes and chase patterns. The 5-in-1 RGBAW LEDs promise increased color gamut and reduce multicolored shadowing compared to conventional LEDs. The individually controlled LEDs can be used for dramatic chase effects. Users can also link multiple PixelStorm COB fixtures together to create large-scale matrixes that make the most of the fixtures’ color chase, strobe, and color-mixing capabilities.

BALTIMORE — CBS Radio Baltimore turned to LD Brett Angstadt to give a live-venue look for the station’s new UpClose Performance Studio, which is used for webcasts. Angstadt used a variety of Chauvet fixtures supplied by Showtime Sound, including Rogue R1 Spots, COLORdash Accent Quad RGBAs, COLORdash Par-Hex 7s and Ovation F-165WW units. The rig also includes COLORband PiX RGB bars from Chauvet DJ and Trusst truss.

Croatian Memorial Event for French Actor in German Films about Apache Chief Lit with SGM Gear, Wireless Control

JASENICE, Croatia – The 2016 Winnetou Festival, which celebrates a fictional Native American hero of several novels written in German by Karl May, also honored Pierre Brice, the French actor who portrayed the Apache chief in popular German movies. The event took place June 4-11, a year after Brice’s death, at age 86, on June 6, 2015. A memorial service highlighting the Tulove Grede mountain peaks included dramatic visuals from German lighting design company MBLightarts . The multimedia visuals made use of 34 SGM P5 RGBW washes to light up the rocks. The fixtures ran off power generators and relied upon W-DMX for wireless control.
