SAINT LUCIA –– David “Gurn” Kaniski had his rig for the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival main stage all set up when he was given the bad news: 15 of the ÉPIX Strip Tours at the heart of his design were blocking a path that (unbeknownst to the LD) had been designated for equipment load-ins. He was able to use the fixture’s flexible rigging in a way to open the path while maintaining the integrity of his visual design.

MOSCOW––Showcasing the talents of lighting designers Alexey Zhuravlev and Roman Vakulyuk, several Martin by Harman lighting fixtures were featured at Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia. There were several special events for the show’s attendees, including a unique project implemented by Euroshow Moscow. AIDA Cruises’ New Luxury Flagship Launch Includes Clay Paky Fixtures
HAMBURG, Germany – LD Björn Hermann used Clay Paky Mythos and Scenius fixtures for the large-scale light show during the christening ceremony of AIDA Cruises’ new luxury flagship AIDAprima. Built by Mitsubishi Shipbuilding in Japan, the luxury liner holds up to 3,300 passengers. The christening ceremony took place in Hamburg during the port’s 827th anniversary celebrations in May. AIDA Cruises is Germany’s largest cruise ship company, with AIDAprima the eleventh addition to the fleet. The British/American owned company was established in 1960.
