Broadcast on the ARD television network, the show offers both music performances and Candid Camera-style pranks. AMSTERDAM – For DJ Armin van Buuren’s new ‘Armin Only’ mega-show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, titled ‘Armin Only – Embrace,’ the same technical and creative team backing the ‘Armin Only – Intense’ world tour in 2014 used 162 Robe moving lights. A blend of Pointes, LEDWash 600s and LEDBeam 100s were unleashed for the four-hour trance event.

LAS VEGAS – Pitbull performed at the Axis in Planet Hollywood on the LED-video-drenched Las Vegas Strip with a visual twist – Chauvet’s 4×4 COB LED panels instead of LED video displays. Michael Smalley and Gabe Fraboni of Twin Designs positioned 138 Nexus 4×4 panels on the fascia of tri-level band and dancer risers.

Rosco Laboratories’ next-gen Miro Cube UV LED fixture, the Miro Cube UV365 was developed by Rosco’s design partner, The Black Tank, and Rosco’s product manager for LED systems, Jack Burwick. Miro Cube UV365 uses LEDs tuned to 365nm, eliminating any visible light emission, and falling squarely into what is known as the true UV spectrum. Knobel, who has worked with the band for 16 years, obtained 36 Scenius fixtures for the rig from Upstaging, Inc. in Sycamore, IL, near Chicago. The fixtures were sourced via A.C.T Lighting, Inc.

Lightning kills thousands of people across the globe every year. Lightning also arrives with an audible alert system (thunder). Thunder is an immediate warning of dangerous conditions outside. If thunder is heard, anyone outside is in danger of being struck by lightning. It does not have to be raining for lightning to occur. In fact, many lightning fatalities occur when rain is not falling. Other threats, such as damaging winds, large hail, flash flooding, or even a tornado, also may be present. When lightning threatens, immediate action needs to occur to promote life safety. A good Lightning Safety Plan specifies the actions that will be taken.
