MIAMI – XFINITY East Plaza near American Airlines Arena caters to Miami Heat fans with 23,000 square feet of outdoor space that beckons crowds with live performances on a ntertainment venue in downtown Miami complete with performance stage and dynamic lighting rig from Elation Professional. The 720-square foot stage with back riser for DJ setups is outfitted with Elation SixPar Series PAR color changers and Platinum Beam 5R Extreme beam effects.

NASHVILLE – Morris’ 2016 Integration Roadshow, targeting AVL professionals in the House of Worship market, will be making three stops in the Southeast this spring and summer: Birmingham, AL; Memphis, TN; and Jackson, MS. The Roadshow is free to attend and offers participants a day-long class featuring hands-on learning opportunities, a roundtable discussion, Morris’ preferred brands and a condensed version of one of Morris’ most popular courses, “Art and Science of Mixing,” taught by John Mills, Morris Education and Development Manager.

MIAMI — Financial backers for some EDM festival organizers may not be in a mood to celebrate this year. (SFX Entertainment, now operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, was delisted from NASDAQ on Feb. 10.) But interest in EDM among festivalgoers still appears to be robust. General admission tickets for the Ultra Music Festival, held March 18-20 in Miami, sold out by late January. SALT LAKE CITY — At the 2016 USITT Show, held March 16-19, Rosco Laboratories presented their eighth annual royalty check from the sales of Roscolux #359 Medium Violet to Behind the Scenes (BTS).
