NASHVILLE – For Eric Paslay’s latest U.S. tour, Elite Multimedia provided lighting designer Mike Marcario and production manager Norwood Wood with a lighting package that included Elation Platinum FLX, Ayrton MagicBlade, Philips Showline SL NITRO 510 LED strobe, and Elation Cuepix WW2 LED Blinder luminaires; with a grandMA onPC Command Wing for control. Along with the gear, Elite Multimedia developed a custom set cart design to streamline load-in and load-out for the venues on the road.

Morris Uses Clay Paky, grandMA2 Consoles for 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend

NASHVILLE – It was Nashville’s turn to host the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, and the four-day event in Music City was packed with enough star power on and off the ice to excite thousands of hockey fans.  Morris, formerly known as Morris Light and Sound, was charged with conceptualizing and executing the audio and lighting installations and providing 24/7 production management at five venues during the weekend. Morris deployed large complements of Clay Paky Mythos and Sharpy Wash 330 fixtures along with grandMA2 consoles at three of the locations.

All Time Low Tours U.K./Ireland with Elation ACL 360 Bar Fixtures

DUBLIN – American pop punk band All Time Low performed at major venues in the U.K. and Ireland in February, joined by Sleeping with Sirens on their “Back to the Future Hearts” tour. LD Jeff Maker was looking for a special lighting effect to complement a series of diamond-shaped video screens. He found it in Elation Professional’s ACL 360 Bar moving head batten. Leeds-based Zig Zag Lighting supplied the fixtures. The arena tour promoted the band’s sixth studio album, Future Hearts, released in April 2015. Maker used his Avolites Sapphire Touch console for control.

Jovanotti’s Latest Tour Includes Clay Paky Fixtures

RIMINI, Italy – Jovanotti has embarked on another tour, with updates including new video and film content and a new asymmetrical stage design by set designer Giancarlo Sforza. All the scenery revolves around Lorenzo during the show, and the stage design helps bring the artist closer to his fans. There are currently 32 Clay Paky A.leda Wash K20s in the Lorenzo nei Palasport 2015-2016 lighting design.

LONDON – After the 2016 Brit Awards took place at London’s O2 Arena, Warner Music staged an after-show event at the Freemason’s Hall in London’s Covent Garden area. Maestra London, led by Justin Hammond, production designer Jenny Woollard, project & event manager Aisha Tarayan and technical managers Adam Jones and Edwin Higgins, worked with event designer Jason Morais from Warner Music on the set, lighting, rigging, audio and all the scenics and décor for the gathering.

Avolites Titan v10, Ai R Series to be Featured at PL+S 2016

Avolites’ feature-rich Titan V10 will be featured at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt next month, from April 5-8. The company says Titan V10 OS is packed full of a new features including a full 3D visualizer powered by the Capture engine, which is designed to let users create and edit shows right inside the Titan interface and lay out fixtures in the space using the console’s encoder wheels. V10 also allows the user to view intensity values in one place via the Intensity Grid. This clearly shows levels, source of information, whether increasing or decreasing and tracking information. Avolites will also be exhibiting its ‘supercharged’ Ai R Series of media servers and feature its Ai V9 software, with an all-new Audio Engine, a Dynamic Content Page, a new User Interface, and 58 new and updated effects. Avolites will be on Booth E80, Hall 3 Level 0 during the show.
