ZURICH – Two leading Croatian music acts – rock band Prljavo Kazalište and pop singer Tony Cetinski – double headlined in a special annual concert event in Zurich’s Stadthalle Dietikon. Sven Kučinić, who works regularly with Prljavo Kazalište, designed the lighting for both acts, using Robe fixtures. The event was organized by Croatia-Media Organizacija (Croatia Media Organization).

NASHVILLE – 2016 has only barely begun and Bandit Lites has already gathered at the Annual General Meeting to celebrate the previous award-winning year, while those in attendance discussed future company goals. In January 2015 Bandit won the prestigious Pollstar Lighting Company of the Year Award, followed by the equally prestigious Parnelli Award for Lighting Company of the Year in October. NASHVILLE – For the Parthenon in Nashville’s Centennial Park, a full-scale copy of the original Parthenon in Athens, DWP Live helped approximate the colors that were originally used for the original structure some 2,500 years ago. The columns were bathed in the hues for a Japanese TV program. DWP Live used four Barco HDFW30 projectors, three Pandoras Box media servers and two outputs to map the building.

HERTFORDSHIRE, UK – Drapes, ‘softs’ and special effects specialist S+H Technical supplied large amounts of red velvet drapes and a substantial custom Pea-light installation for the most recent series of the BBC’s prime time show, ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’ More than 4,000 Pea-lights bulbs were ensconced in custom set panels covered in red drape that served as an integral part of the production design created by Patrick Doherty.
