NEW YORK – This summer a large group of event technology followers gathered at Metropolitan Pavilion to eat Papaya King hot dogs and learn about the latest 4K display technology. Presented by WorldStage, the hands-on work session illustrated the different levels of image quality achieved by comparing HD projection to 4K projection. New projectors from Christie were used for the event.

YUNNAN PROVINCE, China – The Dai Show Theatre, an innovative 1,183-seat venue that opened Sept. 25, 2015, is part of the Xishuangbanna International Resort developed by Wanda Group. Auerbach Pollock Friedlander collaborated with production designers and entertainment architects Stufish, who also designed the building, and show producer Franco Dragone on the project.
LONDON – Building on the Robe Arena booth concept at PLASA 2014 to mark the company’s 20th anniversary, this year Robe takes another large space at PLASA London in the ExCeL Centre. The company plans to put products aimed at theatre and television lighting applications on center stage.
