New York Festival of Light Debuts with Clay Paky Supersharpys
BROOKLYN, NY — The inaugural New York Festival of Light (NYFOL) lit up Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood Nov. 6, 7 and 8 and drew such a huge crowd people had to be turned away on Sat. Nov. 8. Clay Paky fixtures played a key role, and the company’s Supersharpy fixtures made their U.S. debut.

LAS VEGAS — Parnelli Week is here! The Parnelli Classic Golf Tournament tees off bright and early Thursday morning, Nov. 20 at Siena Golf Club in Las Vegas with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. sharp (onsite registration is even earlier, 6:30 am). It’s followed by the Parnelli Awards ceremony at the MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip. That begins Saturday, Nov. 22 with a 7 p.m. cocktail reception followed by the Awards Gala at 8 p.m. Tickets for both events can still be purchased online, but the virtual ticket window for both events closes Wednesday, Nov. 19 at noon Pacific time.

TAMPA, FL — Jerry Freed, founder of Gator Cases, died Nov. 13, 2014 after a bout with cancer. He was 74. Freed had been an entrepreneur and innovator in the audio and MI industries before launching Gator Cases with his daughter Crystal Morris here in 2000.
