PLASA Updates Standards, Changing “ESTA” References to “PLASA”

NEW YORK — PLASA announced that it has posted standards up for reaffirmation for public review on the association’s website, through Feb. 3, 2014. The standards pertain to theatrical fog, control cables, protocols and floor slip hazards. No changes are planned, except for the switch from “ESTA” references to “PLASA,” but the association is using those planned changes as an opportunity for the public to comment on any further changes that might be needed.

NASHVILLE — The Cambridge University American Stage Tour (CAST), which presented Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure over a three-week span earlier this year, relied on an MVS Hazer from Le Maitre for the traveling production.
