Avolites Sapphire Touch is Bright on Blur at Coachella

INDIO, CA – UK LD Dave Byars has put his new Avolites Sapphire Touch to work on Brit-pop band Blur’s 2013 tour, which has performed under the stars in venues and outdoor festivals, including Coachella. Byars pre-programmed much of the Coachella lighting on his laptop during the flight to California and then simply plugged his USB stick carrying the show into his Sapphire Touch.

Project Puts MGC Lighting Head and Shoulders Above the Rest

ESSEX, UK – International lighting distributor, MGC Lighting, has supplied Impact Waterproof Flexistrip lighting for an unusual project involving 2.5 meter (8 ft.) high giraffe sculptures, which are being used to mark the 50th anniversary of Colchester Zoo in Essex. The giraffes have been positioned in various locations around Colchester, as part of the Stand Tall project.
