Dinosaur Hall Opens with Electrosonic Interactive Displays

LOS ANGELES – The newly-opened Dinosaur Hall in the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County allows visitors to learn more about the prehistoric creatures using today’s technology. Electrosonic provided the audio-visual systems in the 14,000 sq. ft. display. The goal was to focus on the specimens in the exhibit, so the AV installation had to be subtle and non-intrusive.

Sharpy Rocks the 2012 Brit Awards

LONDON – LD Al Gurdon designed this year’s Brit Awards at London’s O2 Arena with close to 200 Clay Paky Sharpys in the rig. Performances featured Adele, Rihanna, Blur, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs and Florence and the Machine. Gurdon says he’s been using the Sharpys for about six months now, and the fixture’s flexibility gave him a number of different looks for each artist.
