Clay Paky Sharpys Tour Worldwide with Evanescence

Bergamo, ITALY  – Clay Paky Sharpy fixtures are making their mark on the Evanescence world tour. LD Dan Hardiman is using more than a dozen Sharpys as upstage floor lights for aerial effects and to back light the band.  The band does not like strong key light and is kept fairly moody,  a look that Hardiman balances with intensive moving light effects.

Brickblaster Lights Up Caesar’s Nightclub

AMESBURY, MA – The 21 Bar inside of Caesar’s Casino in Atlantic City features a new look in lighting and video design, thanks to Aurora Sound & Light Design. To provide color washes, Aurora chose the BRICKBLASTER Pro RGBW fixture mounted on Halo track. The LED fixture uses red, green, blue and white LEDs and is targeted for entertainment and architectural installations.

4Wall Lights LA Symphony

LOS ANGELES –  4Wall Los Angeles teamed with LD Robin Gray to provide lighting for Los Angeles Philharmonic’s “The Mahler Project” at the Shrine Auditorium. Gray chose a selection of gear to light the venue, several orchestras and chorus groups, including ETC Source Four Pars and Dimmer Racks along with VARI-LITE and Martin moving lights.

Hippotizer Serves Super Bowl XLVI

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Super Bowl Halftime Show featured display integration and 3D effects accomplished using Hippotizer’s UberPan and VideoMapper software components. Green Hippo’s UberPan software made it possible to blend eight discrete outputs seamlessly across the entire multi-resolution canvas, with the augmentation of VideoMapper, which mapped the geometry of the LED video tiles in the stage floor.

The company said it is now merging the management structure for its operations in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Gardner, who reports to Rene de Keyzer, will work with Cary Tan, chief financial officer of XL Video US, to implement the merged company structure.
