Dolphins Make Splash at Georgia Aquarium with Electrosonic

BURBANK, CA – Dolphins are making a big splash in a theatrical show at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.  Electrosonic played a major role designing, supplying and installing all the audio and video equipment the show required.  In addition, Electrosonic’s Design Consulting team took on the production’s complex AV and show control systems design. LD David Agress was also on the project.

VH1 Morning Show Gets New Looks from LD Tom Kenny, WorldStage

NEW YORK – LD Tom Kenny provided a new lighting design for VH1’s revamped morning entertainment show, Big Morning Buzz Live, broadcast from the 20th floor lobby of VH1’s headquarters in Times Square. WorldStage supplied the gear for the new season. Kenny and WorldStage worked with studio LDs Dan Kinsley and John Salzman on the project.

Second Annual Student Lighting Design Competition Now Underway

LAS VEGAS —  The iSquint.net and Stage Directions Magazine Student Lighting Design Competition (SLDC) is officially underway. SLDC is once again supported by sponsors Nemetschek Vectorworks, City Theatrical and Field Template. Beginning Nov. 21, students can download the student version of Vectorworks 2012 and a demo version of Lightwright in order to compete in the SLDC.
