AARHUS, Denmark – Jyske Bank BOXEN is one of the country’s largest indoor concert arenas. Shaped like an isosceles trapezoid, the venue’s features all but disappeared after sundown. Wanting the outside to match the lighting displays on stage indoors, the venue management sought help from Martin Professional for an attention-grabbing lighting scheme on the outside of the BOXEN.

LOS ANGELES — Andrew Figueroa, Jr., 30, a lighting tech/lighting director who started his career at age 16, died Nov. 27 after a car accident in Artesia, CA. Figueroa’s credits included Rage Against the Machine, Rob Zombie, The Black Crowes, Rockstar Supernova, A Perfect Circle, The Crystal Method, and many other tours, events and corporate shows. He had also worked with Delicate Productions, Obie’s Lighting Production, RK Diversified Entertainment, U.S. Audio and Lighting, L.A. Stagecall and many other shops. Known as “Andy Fig Jr.,” he is the son of lighting programmer/director Andrew Figueroa, Sr.
