Solar-Powered LEDs Installed for Distribution Facility’s Parking Lot

AZUSA, CA – Cardinal Pet Care, which turned its 36,000 square foot manufacturing center into one of the first all-solar-powered production plants last year, has equipped a soon-to-be-opened 70,000-square-foot distribution center with an outdoor LED lighting system also powered by the sun. The LEDs light the building's exterior, landscaping and 67,000-square-foot parking lot.

Lightswitch Helps Barry Manilow Shift from Concert to Theatrical Show

When Barry Manilow moved his show from the Las Vegas Hilton to the Paris Las Vegas for a new two-year residency, the production team wanted to make a few changes to better reflect and adapt to their new home. To do so, they brought in lighting designer Chris Medvitz of Lightswitch to create an intimate yet potent lighting design. Lightswitch then enlisted the assistance of PRG and 65 Vari*Lite luminaires from Philips Vari-Lite.

Addams Family’s Julian Crouch: Master Multitasker

It's arduous enough directing a massive Broadway musical like The Addams Family, but Julian Crouch tackled three roles at once: co-director, scenic designer and costume designer. "I actually handled some of the puppets as well, but it's like a hidden credit," he adds with a laugh. "I come from a small theatre company, so I often have to do everything.
