TROY, OH – Solid State Luminaires noted a project at the Miami County Courthouse in Troy, OH that makes use of their RGBW Linear ColourLine Wet (CLWET) fixtures (placed at the base of each window on the outer ledge) and RGBW 9″ Flood (SSF2109) products, which light the top center tower and surrounding statues.

MIDDLESEX, NJ – Squeek Lights’ new Ruby Stage served as the performance platform for a November livestream for Top 20 alt rockers The Wonder Years. “This band is one of our oldest clients, so working with them again was a real thrill,” said Victor Zeiser who lit the 90-minute show with a rig centered on Chauvet Rogue R1 BeamWash fixtures.

NAPERVILLE, IL – Local artist Paul Kuhn incorporated two in-ground Elation Proteus Maximus LED profile luminaires for his tribute to firefighters at Firemen’s Memorial Park in Naperville, IL. Kuhn partnered with Dark Moon Designs, Twelve Limbs Art Studio and Intelligent Lighting Creations on the project.

SANTA MONICA, CA – The 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards (PCAs) was once again staged at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Tom Sutherland of DX7 Design, working for production company Den of Thieves, lit the event for the third consecutive year. His rig, supplied by Felix Lighting, included 154 Robe MegaPointe moving lights.

NASHVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites announced that Steve Hoover, a 40-year company veteran, died suddenly on Dec. 15. He is survived by his former wife, two daughters and a wide circle of friends including co-workers at Bandit Lites and the touring crew for Jimmy Buffett and other artists.
