INDIANAPOLIS – The “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” celebrated its 100th anniversary in dramatic fashion as rookie driver Alexander Rossi coasted to a victory after his car ran out of gas near the end of the race. Rossi may have been running on empty when he crossed the finish line, but there was plenty of fuel left in the tanks of the high octane lightshows that Collyns Stenzel created for the three concerts that took place in conjunction with the race.

MOSCOW––As part of the Moscow Anniversary Day celebrations, the Luzhniki Arena turned up the excitement for the Vivat Russia! champions’ figure skating event with a creative and memorable lighting experience, using 80 Martin MAC 101 LED moving wash fixtures. Lighting designer Alexey Zhuravlev used Martin MAC 101 fixtures for the event. The project became a creative collaboration between Zhuravlev and Roman Vakulyuk. Together, they created a large set of lighting presets and scripts for every moment of the show, including the individual ice performances as well as the vocal and acrobatic events.

AUSTIN, TX — Justin Jenkins, owner of Creative Production & Design, used Elation Professional’s Antari UV Spot 670 for the State of Color/Neon Riot Tour, pictured here, which visited the Austin area earlier this year. Like the Elation/Antari UV Wash 2000, the Antari UV Spot 670 uses LEDs that emit UV light in the 365nm range. With virtually no visible light emitted from the UV Spot 670 and UV Wash 2000, only the UV reactive material glows and nothing else. That proved a good fit with the Neon Riot Tour, where UV glow-in-the-dark paint plays a big role.
