Ford Turns to Tait Towers for Scissor Lift Ride for Beijing Motor Show Attendees
BEIJING – As part of its presentation at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show, which runs from April 25 to May 4, Ford turned to Tait Towers for a hydraulic scissor lift that ascends 23 feet into a video surround. Dubbed the “Ford Experience,” the ride lasts three minutes and accommodates up to 15 people.

Harting and four other companies had been nominated for the 2016 honor. Harting won for its MICA (Modular Industry Computing Architecture) mini-industrial computer. The black tie event and dance party took place April 16 and benefited The Cancer Research Endowment, where UTMC’s CEO Joe Landsman announced that, during this year alone, the Cancer Research Institute raised over $4 million.

MEXICO CITY – The 489-foot-high tower that’s part of the Paragon Business & Residential Suites in Mexico City’s Santa Fe district is adding a new dose of color to the Mexico City skyline with an architectural lighting project completed by Hermes Music México. The design called for LED color washes from one of their principal suppliers, PR Lighting. Hermes Music Mexico lighting specialist Ricardo R Segura de la Cruz made use of four of PR Lighting’s Arc Led 3216 fixtures to light the top of the building and XPar 390 fixtures to light the base.
