Avolites Titan v10, Ai R Series to be Featured at PL+S 2016

Avolites’ feature-rich Titan V10 will be featured at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt next month, from April 5-8. The company says Titan V10 OS is packed full of a new features including a full 3D visualizer powered by the Capture engine, which is designed to let users create and edit shows right inside the Titan interface and lay out fixtures in the space using the console’s encoder wheels. V10 also allows the user to view intensity values in one place via the Intensity Grid. This clearly shows levels, source of information, whether increasing or decreasing and tracking information. Avolites will also be exhibiting its ‘supercharged’ Ai R Series of media servers and feature its Ai V9 software, with an all-new Audio Engine, a Dynamic Content Page, a new User Interface, and 58 new and updated effects. Avolites will be on Booth E80, Hall 3 Level 0 during the show.

ETC Adds EchoAccess and DMX Scene Controller to Unison Echo Line

ETC is enhancing its line of Unison Echo products with EchoAccess and the company’s DMX Scene Controller. Both are compatible with all currently shipping Echo hardware products. Users can configure and customize self-contained systems, presets and zones while maintaining system-wide control. Combined with EchoAccess, the DMX Scene Controller allows for lighting hue, saturation and color to be modified locally or remotely for architectural lighting installations. Existing Echo products have also been updated in terms of capabilities and features in order to better meet energy codes, such as ASHRAE 90.1, CA Title 20/24 and IECC.

GLP Lights Up Hollywood for STAR WARS World Premiere

HOLLYWOOD, CA – For the world premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, LA-based NYX Design put GLP’s X4 Atom, X4 Bar 20 and X4 Bar 10 fixtures into service. Light City Baltimore Set for March 28-April 3

BALTIMORE, MD –  Light City Baltimore is a festival of light, music and innovation. The inaugural event will light up Baltimore’s Inner Harbor from March 28 – April 3 with art, music, performances, and an innovation conference. Central to the event, will be the 1.5-mile BGE Light Art Walk, with 50 illuminated experiences and art installations, musical performances, street theater and concerts, all free and open to the public. The event will kick off with the Light City Lantern Parade coordinated by the Creative Alliance on March 28 at 7 p.m., beginning at the Maryland Science Center and following the BGE Light Art Walk.

Image Engineering Kicks Off 2016 with Lighting, FX for Top Football Games

GLENDALE, AZ –  Image Engineering spent the beginning of 2016 working on the two largest football games of the year, the National Football Championship (pictured here) and the Super Bowl. At the National Football Championship Image Engineering provided lighting, cryogenic and flame special effects for the Clemson University and University of Alabama player introductions. These effects energized the players and fans helping to set the stage for what was a riveting game. An audience of over 70,000 fans were in attendance and over 25 million viewers watched on television.
