SALT LAKE CITY – USITT noted that 10 up-and-coming theatre artists will get special recognition through its Young Designers & Technicians Awards program with a ceremony set for March 17, during the association’s annual convention. The YD&T Awards honor designers and technicians early in their careers. It is supported with funding from industry sponsors. This year’s awards ceremony will also feature remarks by Steve Younkins, creator of Q2Q Comics, a web comic devoted to theatre tech.
