Event at Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn Gets Elegant Vibe with Chauvet Lighting

NEW YORK – While a warehouse in Brookyn might not be what first comes to mind when scanning the NYC landscape for chi-chi event locales, Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood has transformed considerably from its days as a Hooverville during the Great Depression and as “the crack capital of America” (so-dubbed in an article in Life magazine) as recently as 1990. Along with its impressive waterfront views, accent lighting from Chauvet Professional helps make Liberty Warehouse highly desired for weddings and other events.

LAS VEGAS — Thousands of people flocked to the floor of the convention center last week for the LDI Convention. As evidenced by the crowds occupying the Elation booth, many of their new products were a hit with the attendees. Previously shown fixtures such as the Emotion and the Platinum FLX were seen by many for the first time. But garnishing some major attention were the ACL series of fixtures.

LAS VEGAS – At the recent LDI show in late October, ETC presented a check for $27,405.58 to Behind the Scenes, which reflected ongoing proceeds from sales of ETC’s iRFR and aRFR (Radio Focus Remote) application for iOS and Android devices. LAS VEGAS – PRG’s GroundControl Followspot System was recognized with the LDI Best Debuting Product – Staging and Rigging award at this year’s LDI show. PRG Product Manager for Luminaires Chris Conti, who thanked PRG’s Technology Development team, based in Dallas, accepted the award and also credited LD Bob Barnhart and Full Flood for their design inspiration in the development of the product.
