‘Nitro Circus Live’ Lit with GLP impression X4 Fixtures

WASHINGTON, DC — For ‘Nitro Circus Live,’ a tour originating in Australia that features daredevil bike riders, skateboarders and stunts with props ranging from water coolers, rocking horses and La-Z-Boy furniture, LD Francesco Calvi’s lighting design includes 18 GLP impression X4 fixtures. Calvi, also based in Australia, worked with production manager Brendan Maher on the project. Upstaging is providing the fixtures for the U.S. tour legs this year.

Interactive Light Art Installation Shines in Lahti, Finland with Martin VC-Dots

LAHTI, Finland – A light art installation, Valokaivo (Light Well), invites passersby to activate lighting changes by stepping on the artwork’s protective glass panel. Studiotec supplied the Martin VC-Dots for the media surface and the reActor Media server used for the installation, which was designed by Studio Lux Nova and Marjut Kauppinen. The Invisible developed the interactive digital content and installed the IP camera motion tracking.
