Australian Dance-Theatre Production in London Lit with Philips Selecon Fixtures

LONDON – An Australian dance-theatre production, Intimacy, by Michelle Ryan and Torque Show, recently traversed the globe to take up residence at the Southbank Centre in London. Part of the ‘Unlimited’ disability arts festival, the piece was lit with eight Philips Selecon LED PLprofile1 luminaires, chosen for their crucial colorizing flexibility by lighting designer John Ford. Ford, of lighting design consultancy Relume, specified the Selecon luminaires when it came to lighting the piece during its previous run at the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne.

Video Production at Dove Awards Centers on PixelFlex FLEXCurve LED Tiles

NASHVILLE, TN – The 45th Annual Dove Awards, recently held in Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University, utilized the PixelFLEX FLEXCurve LED tile as the backbone to all video production. With 46 categories, the award ceremony was hosted by Bart Millard of MercyMe and Lecrae. There were a number of performers from the vast family of christian and gospel music genre including the Newsboys, Natalie Grant, Hezekiah Walker, King and Country, Erica Campbell, Pat Boone, Mercy Me and Mandisa among many others.

BRISBANE, Australia – The 2014 G20 Summit brought the world’s top finance ministers and bankers to Brisbane Nov. 15-16.  it also included the G20 Cultural Celebrations, a three-week program of free events sponsored by Queensland (Brisbane is the Australian state’s capital). 32 Hundred Lighting came up with an app that let citizens all over the world color the buildings of Brisbane.

ALBANY, NY — Heavy metal band Killswitch Engage joined All That Remains, Death Ray Vision and City of Homes for a three-date mini tour on Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1 in Sayreville, NJ, Worcester, MA and Albany NY. Dubbed Monster’s Mosh, the shows featured a design from LD Darragh Guiney that included Chauvet Professional LED video panels, moving lights and Vesuvio RGBA foggers supplied by JDI Productions.
