Bob Schacherl Named CEO of Robe Lighting Inc.
ROZNOV POD RADHOSTEM, Czech Republic — Robe Lighting s.r.o. named industry veteran Bob Schacherl CEO of its U.S.-based operation, Robe Lighting Inc. Schacherl served as a partner at High End Systems from its early days in the mid-1980s through late 2000. After that, he joined Philips Entertainment, serving as global sales director when his retirement from that company was announced in March 2013. Rammstein’s Big Rigs Include Ron StageMaster Wireless Load Cells
WACKEN, Germany — For heavy metal band Rammstein’s Made in Germany tour, which concluded at the Wacken Open Air Festival here Aug. 1-3, Dart Rigging has relied on Ron StageMaster wireless load cells from Eilon Engineering. Dart Rigging first deployed the RMS load cell system for the band’s large-and-growing rigging needs in 2009.

CT Glux Carbon 10 LED System Used for Major Events in Germany, The Netherlands
FRANKFURT — CT (Creative Technology) noted that its new CT Glux Carbon 10 LED System has already been deployed at a number of major events in Europe, including the Audi booth at the Frankfurt IAA car show and at two major concert events in The Netherlands, both at the Arnhem GelreDome — a concert for Dutch duo Nick & Simon and another concert event, Symphonica in Rosso, which featured singer Dutch songstress Anouk. Smaller systems have also been deployed on TV series in the UK and Germany and on The Arctic Monkey’s tour. The product will also be used at the Dubai Airshow set for later this month.
