CT Glux Carbon 10 LED System Used for Major Events in Germany, The Netherlands

FRANKFURT — CT (Creative Technology) noted that its new CT Glux Carbon 10 LED System has already been deployed at a number of major events in Europe, including the Audi booth at the Frankfurt IAA car show and at two major concert events in The Netherlands, both at the Arnhem GelreDome — a concert for Dutch duo Nick & Simon and another concert event, Symphonica in Rosso, which featured singer Dutch songstress Anouk. Smaller systems have also been deployed on TV series in the UK and Germany and on The Arctic Monkey’s tour. The product will also be used at the Dubai Airshow set for later this month.

Clay Paky Provides IESNA and Eulumdat Photometric Data

SERIATE, Italy — Clay Paky has recently published photometric data relating to its lights on its website, claypaky.it. The data are in IESNA and Eulumdat format (.IES and .LDT files), as specified in standard EN 13.032 – LM 79 – . The main advantage of these formats is they can be “imported” into design programs so that the levels of light in the various areas that need illuminating may be rendered. This helps designers calculate the number of lights needed to achieve a certain lighting level, the optimum distance between the lights and the area to be illuminated, and the spacing between the lights themselves.

NEW YORK — Avery Fisher Hall, home of the New York Philharmonic and Lincoln Center, has taken delivery of two DMX-controlled Robert Juliat Cyrano followspots from PRG/NJ.  Avery Fisher Hall is part of The Lincoln Center complex on the west side of Manhattan.  The concert hall, which is used for a wide variety of events, opened in 1962 and has a capacity of 2,738 seats.
