HAMBURG, Germany – For this year’s Studio Hamburg Newcomer Awards ceremony, LD Andreas Rinne used Clay Paky Sharpys, Alpha Spot HPE 300s, Alpha Spot HPE 700s, Alpha Beam 300s and a grandMA2 light console, as well as other equipment, to light four different areas: the outdoor set, the award ceremony, the party after the show and the entrance.

Ravens Ring Ceremony Includes Second-Half Blackout

Italian Game Show Lit with Robe Fixtures
NAPLES, Italy — Italian television lighting designer Salvo Perrini used nearly 200 Robe moving lights on the most recent series of ‘Reazione A Catena’ (Chain Reaction) for national TV channel RAI. The show was recorded at RAI’s Auditorium HQ here, where Perrini lit the show for the second time, before which it was recorded in Rome.

Elation’s DW Profile 250 is an LED profile fixture that uses a white 250W LED engine with a 17°- 30° manual zoom (with optional 30°- 50° zoom available). It is capable of generating variable color temperatures from 3,000°K – 6,500°K, up to 10,000 Lumens, and promises flicker-free operation for video/broadcast applications. At a 17° zoom 4,600°K full on it produces 2,333 lx at 7.5M (217 fc at 24.6ft), and at a 30° zoom 4,600°K full on it produces 1,027 lx at 7.5M (95 fc at 24.64ft).
