High Speed on Two Wheels: Cameo Illuminates the 110th Six Day Cycle Race in Berlin

From January 27 to 29 2023, the 110th Six Day 2023 took place at the Velodrom in Berlin. The cycling race, also known as the Six Day Race, is one of the absolute sporting highlights of the German capital, sending the professionals out on to an impressive 250-meter oval track. This year, the lighting in the Velodrom was the responsibility of AVM Event Veranstaltungstechnik & Service GmbH, which already has years of experience with the Six Days offshoot in Bremen, north Germany. LD Bobby Grey and KL Fresnel™ Give Retro Vibe to Stephen Sanchez ‘Late Late Show’ Performance

Lighting Designer Bobby Grey of Notan Creative was brought in by 24/7 Productions to design a series of late night talk show appearances for singer-songwriter Stephen Sanchez and chose to incorporate Elation Professional’s KL Fresnel 8 FC™ soft light as a retro look fixture in his design for a February performance on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

For the Late Late Show performance, Sanchez teamed with Em Beihold to deliver a remarkable duet of his hit “Until I Found You.” The collaboration—their first television performance of the song together—brought together two of music’s most exciting breakout stars for one memorable performance. TCG Announces the 2023 Recipients of Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce Kaʻiukapu BakerClaudia Brownlee, and Lia Wallfish as the recipients of The Willa Kim Costume Design Scholarship 2023. Administered by TCG with support from The Estate of Willa Kim, the Scholarship provides exceptionally talented costume designers who are enrolled in a university or professional training program with the opportunity to supplement their fine arts training in hand-drawing and painting. The Scholarship honors costume designer Willa Kim’s legacy and her life’s work as a pioneer, legend, and inspiration for many of today’s theatre artists. The recipients were announced at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on February 22 at 6:30pm ET as part of the exhibition The Wondrous Willa Kim: Costume Designs for Actors and Dancers.
