HAMPSHIRE, U.K. “Techs on the Decks” featured 24 artists (also talented technicians) who performed a 24-hour non-stop electronic music live stream broadcast on Facebook Live, YouTube and Twitch. (They also ran lighting, cameras, visuals and sound for the event.) Staged from rental company Liteup’s facilities in Hampshire, the event, lit with Robe fixtures, raised £4000 for technical entertainment charity Backup.

NAMM Joins Call to Action for Live Event Industry, Urgent Need to Contact Representatives NOW

WASHINGTON, DC – NAMM announced July 16 that it has joined the call to action on behalf of the live event industry and has sent a letter to Senate leaders, urging further assistance to the industry in the form of payroll support, tax relief and loan guarantees.
