PARIS – The Kooks have been touring on both sides of the Atlantic this year in support of their most recent album, Let’s Go Sunshine. For their recently completed leg in the U.K. and Europe, LD Jordon Cooper of Moth Lights used an LCR-supplied rig with plenty of Robe fixtures, including 69 LEDBeam 150s, 32 Spiiders and a pair of RoboSpot-controlled BMFL WashBeams.

Severe Weather Disrupts Major NYC Area Festivals

NEW YORK – The Governors Ball music festival on Randall’s Island and Hot 97 Summer Jam at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey were both affected by severe weather that moved into the area on June 2. Attendees at Hot 97 were able to return to their seats after a delay, but the Governors Ball event was cut short with an ordered evacuation. Governors Ball organizers also noted that refunds would be issued to those purchasing tickets for the day affected, and partial refunds would be available for three-day pass purchasers.

LED Video Reaches New Heights at Burj Khalifa, with Assist from SACO and disguise

DUBAI – At 2,722 feet in height, the Burj Khalifa has reigned as the tallest building in the world since the structure was completed in 2009. Partially clad with SACO LED video in time for NYE 2018 and expanded with permanent LED displays for NYE 2019, the building now features the Guinness-recognized biggest and tallest LED display in the world, with SACO screens driven by disguise servers.
