NEW YORK, NY — The Metropolitan Opera Guild, a premier arts education organization, announced an enrollment growth in the lineup of its opera-based learning programs from the previous year. These programs, which began in August, are designed to enrich the lives of children and educators, while fulfilling state and federal learning standards. “Our programs at the Guild are tailored to fit a school’s specific needs, and have been proven to increase a student’s test scores and engagement,” said Stuart Holt, Director of School Programs and Community Engagement, Metropolitan Opera Guild.

Liberty University Acquires Claypaky Scenius Spots and Scenius Unicos for Vines Center

LOS ANGELES – The Event Production Department at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia has increased its lighting inventory with the addition of Claypaky Scenius Spots and Scenius Unicos.  They will be used in the Vines Center, the university’s basketball and volleyball arena, which is also used for concerts, special events and their Convocation service three times a week. The purchase is the first stage in a “five-year upgrade of our lighting and audio equipment,” says Amy Justice, Lighting Director and Tier 2 Production Technician in the department.
