Adlib Gears Up for ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys’ Tour, DVD Shoot

LIVERPOOL, UK – Adlib has been gearing up as the U.K. production company continues to support the popular sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys through projects that include a live arena tour that continues through year’s end and also a live DVD shoot planned for September. Adlib also made a major investment in new Absen high definition LED screen, Sony broadcast cameras and Prolyte pre-rigged trussing in time for the first leg of the tour in the spring.

UK’s National Theatre Using Advances in Show Control Automation with Eos Ti, OSC and Ableton Live

LONDON – The National Theatre’s production of Everyman is lit by Paul Anderson, with a set design by Ian MacNeil, video design by Tal Rosner and sound design by Paul Arditti. Dan Murfin, the lighting control supervisor at The National, is using features in the new v2.3 software and an Eos Ti desk along with Ableton Live to turn the parameters of the actor’s voice into OSC commands in real time.

The truss was first used by White Light on the recent UK Tour of the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular, produced by BBC Worldwide and Vision Nine (pictured here).
