DORDRECHT, The Netherlands – Energiehuis, a former power station on the outskirts of Dordrecht, The Netherlands, has been transformed into a new multi-venue cultural centre, complete with stage lighting by Robe. Moving lights for the 800 capacity Main Stage are 12 each of Robe’s ROBIN 600E Spots and Washes together with 16 each of the ROBIN 300E Spot and Wash fixtures. These were picked for their ‘smaller-brighter-lighter’ properties.

LD Rob Sinclair created a powerful lighting spectacle to equal the band’s legendary status for their ‘Queen + Adam Lambert’ world tour. Using 23 x Clay Paky Sharpys, Sinclair created a dynamic floor package that matched the high-energy showmanship of the band. “The lighting design on this tour had to start big and get even bigger,” explains Sinclair. “It needed to do justice to Queen’s extensive and wonderful production heritage. I needed lights that could deliver huge looks and which had the capacity and versatility to make those looks go even bigger,” he said.

LAS VEGAS – Mack Truck called upon 4Wall Las Vegas to provide gear for a launch event celebrating a new logo for the company. “I had a great deal of building surface to try and cover in addition to lighting up six large, industrial Mack trucks, we had a 30ft by 30ft stage area for speeches, awards presentations, and a DJ. The client had a very specific color palette in mind, gold and silver. I designed fourteen 20ft tall ‘tree trusses’ that were spaced around the open piazza along with a central area of circular truss (65ft diameter) where the main bar area was located,” said LD Glenn Wade.

The goal was to produce a massive multi-media canvas on stage for each network to customize their unique visuals for the audience. To create this canvas, the design involved a large 17’ x 51’ raised center screen, to showcase the true HD media, surrounded by a backdrop of high resolution 11.25 MM LED tiles that enhanced the content, and could be used to create a larger canvas of images supporting the visuals of the main screen.

NASHVILLE — Audio, video and lighting production was provided by Elite Multimedia Productions for this year’s K-LOVE Fan Awards celebrating Christian music. EMP used a variety of gear to enhance the Fan Zone experience. Visuals included a FLEXCurve LED video screen created by PixelFLEX, ETC Source 4 Lekos, Chauvet Color Battens and Slim Pars and a GrandMA 2 Lite Console. For the Fan Zone Music Stage, a Digidesign Venue SC48 was at front of house with Yamaha 5D monitors. A PixelFLEX FLEXCurtain LED wall, Martin Mac 700’s and PixelFLEX CM12 lighting fixtures were the foundation of the visual production.
